Super Serious Winter Anime Season First Impressions 2017 (Inspired by Demolition D+)

I’m happy… even when I’m sad, I’m happy. That doesn’t mean I’ll live a life of luxury or fame, it means even when I’m sad I’ll live happy. Of course it’s hard being yourself for your own sake; as humans we thrive on acceptance from those other than ourselves; everyone has a stage that acts as a seat to the stages adjacent and beyond. But one need not be driven mad by this fact. Ignorance is bliss, but acceptance is peace. Year round performing crowds will crowd performers, and my vision will be blurred by envy and mediocrity. But when the air cools and sun wanes more often than before, I look out into this sea of aborted dreams and I smile. My performance strives on the sadness that the shivering breeze delivers to me. And since my first memory, of waking up in that half pink room with confusion and awe at my own existence, I’ve preformed. Regardless of the great love I have for others, and regardless of the lore we’ve created, I am not satisfied with my efforts nor my past and so I fall into the depths of my fictional insanity. It is only when the leaves are buried and the trees mourn their passing, that my desperation finds a physical form as the calm grey sky. Finally, I find solace in the calm tragedy that’s taken place north of my window. I find fuel for effort. I find happiness, because my performance allows it and because I accept the flawed cycle of my performance.
