Lady Diana: Remembering Princess of Wales on her 58th birth anniversary

Diana, Princess of Wales was born on July 1, 1961, as Diana Frances Spencer. Diana was born into the Spencer family, a family of British nobility. In 1975, after her father inherited the title of Earl Spencer, she became known as Lady Diana Spencer. She was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, and the mother of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. Diana remains one of the most popular members of the royal family throughout history, and she continues to influence the principles of the royal family and its younger generations. Diana was a long-standing and active supporter of Centrepoint, a charity which provides accommodation and support to homeless people, and became a patron in 1992.
