A Very Strange Day | Disney Morning, Crazy Work Announcement, & History Happening

Today we do something we never do: rope drop a store for exclusive merchandise! We start our day at the Polynesian Resort. Peter works from the lobby and Sarah waits in line to see if BoutTiki got any more tiki chips and dip bowls in stock. Bummer... They did not! So we head home. Sarah plays with James while Peter works like crazy. There was a big announcement today for his company. To say he is busy is quite the understatement! We watch the news as the electoral college votes are counted and the insurrection at the Capitol building unfolds... This day will certainly never be forgotten. We give ourselves a little break from the day's chaos and that helps our heart. Peter keeps on working late into the night. That daily message was spot on! What a difference a year can make!
