AfDB President – Akinwumi Adesina Adesina Seeks 2nd Term In Office

The President of the African Development Bank (AFDB), Akinwumi Adesina, is a recipient of various awards such as the World Food Prize in 2017, African of the Year by Forbes Africa, twice, in 2014 and 2019, respectively, the African Person of the Year by the Africa Leadership Magazine and many more. At the virtual statutory meeting, he announced his intention to run for a 2nd term in office.
