Bengaluru: Drunk youth tried to kiss Jumbo, ends up in hospital

A 24-year-old youth in a drunk state tried to get close to the elephant and tried to kiss it on Wednesday, has now ended up in the hospital. The incident happened in Malur, almost 50 km from Bengaluru. The youth tried to emulate a scene from Kannada film where an actor kissed an elephant. The young man was trying to boast in front of his friends and attempted kissing the elephant. The incident took place when forest and police department officials trying to drive a herd of six elephants back into the forests on Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border.
