►► Watch the first day of competition is over. The city of Braga was the first stage for the Time Trial. More than 50 athletes marked presence.
In the female competition, which featured 19 athletes, the 18km were won by Tereza Korvasová, of the Czech Republic. The podium was closed with the polish Marta Lach and the german Jaqueline Dietrich.
In the men's race, australian Liam Magennis was the big winner, with more than 40 seconds ahead of Piotr Konwa, of Poland. The bronze medal went to the cypriot Andreas Miltiadis. The race of 27 km had 36 athletes from various nationalities.
The protocol ceremony was attended by the President of the Organising Committee, Nuno Reis, the Member of the Commission of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), Member of the Medical Commission of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and Vice President of Academic University Sports Federation (FADU)
