Dr. B N Suresh | IIST, ISRO HQ | Space Science in Everyday Lives | World Space Week '20

The Indian Space Research Organization has grown to become a pioneer in space exploration and research. From its roots back to early 1960 where they built small launch vehicles, ISRO has grown to become recognized worldwide for its research and interplanetary orbiter missions, such as the Mangalyaan.

As part of its World Space Week guest lectures, Pragyan, the techno-managerial college festival of NIT Trichy, in association with Nakshatra, the official astronomy and science club of NIT Trichy, welcomes Dr. BN Suresh, Chancellor of the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology and the former Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre. Dr. Suresh will shed some light on this inspiring journey that made us stronger as a nation, and a few instances from his personal experiences as an Aerospace Scientist at ISRO.
