The Justice League story begins with the chaos that occurred after the death of Superman. Riots and crime were everywhere. The climax comes from Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds), a world-conquering monster who is also an accomplice to Darkseid, a great enemy of the Justice League. Steppenwolf comes to earth to find three Mother Boxes which he will unite to destroy the earth.
Bruce Wayne aka Batman (Ben Affleck) is called to protect the earth from Steppenwolf's attacks. After being left behind by Superman, his disbelief made Batman think of making a squad of human beings with superhero abilities which he later named Justice League.
He and Wonder Woman then split to recruit hidden superheroes. Until finally some members gathered, namely Arthur Churry or Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Bary Allen or The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Victor Stone or Cyborg (Ray Fisher). These superheroes appear with different characters and backgrounds which will be explained in their solo films.

It turns out that defeating Steppenwolf is not as easy as imagined. Even though they have gathered, the Justice League's strength still feels lame. That's when Batman felt the need for Superman. Together with Justice League personnel, Batman also tries to resurrect Superman who he thinks is capable of saving the world from Steppenwolf's attacks.

Can Superman live again? Can the Justice League thwart Steppenwolf's intention to destroy the earth?
