Описание

For those struggling with functional dyspepsia (FD) (note: I'm a patient!) it can sometimes feel like there's very little information available about the condition.

Since my struggles with postprandial FD began two years ago, following my gallbladder surgery, I've been trying to keep up with research and news on developments and treatments for the condition in the drug development pipeline. My interested and motivation are as vested as they come: I want to feel better as soon as possible!

A lot of this research can be accessed online by simply sourcing PDFs from the internet and using Google Scholar as a starting point. I also recommend setting up a Google Alert to receiving periodic notifications about what's happening in the space.

I've gleaned a lot of interesting information this way. Both about medical researchers' understanding of the condition and about what's in the drug development pipeline that may expand treatment options shortly.
