A link to my previous video (A better introduction to the matter):

This video makes the case for why Turkish (Erdogan) Policy and enablement of Azerbaijan makes “Genocide” an appropriate term. It further details how Azerbaijan’s war crimes and state sponsored hate speech form an equally compelling case for the suitability of the term “Genocide”

All opinions are my own, and without affiliation. Here are some notes and sources used.

Note 1: I don’t attest to the veracity of any of the data of these maps as they relate to one region or another, but the underlying point is that all accounts agree that Armenian & Azeri populations were dispersed among one another geographically. Mountainous Karabakh was Armenian, but surrounding planes was mostly Azeri – However, other parts of Modern Day Azerbaijan had other towns of high Armenian Density – A point that is often overlooked. For a similar map, prepared and presented within a Pro-Azeri framework, see “Caspian Report” - https://youtu.be/pS3P9kk-vFk

2:30 – 1992 and 1993 ethnolinguistic maps that show Armenian Populations having become condensed within Armenia and Karabakh.

Note 2: The 1992 and 1993 map show many of the Armenian parts of modern Azerbaijan diminished/gone versus the pre soviet maps.

4:30 – I don’t have the source of this image. As it is a pretty standard view of the map, I did not dig up the reference. The “Turkic” countries are shown in a red highlight.

8:31 – MoFreedom Foundation Video https://youtu.be/G-6vKJG9zyI (Please note: while I take his point overall, I take issue with two things in his video)
(1) – He refers to the ethnic cleansing of the Azeris in the buffer zone. “Ethnic Cleansing” is a term that I feel should be only be used when the listener knows what is meant. It could mean killing, and, it could mean evicting/displacing. In the case of the Azeris in the buffer zone, it was the latter – That large number of persons (600,000) were not killed – just removed. I don’t feel he was clear enough in the video, that it was the latter.
(2) A similar number of Armenians were forcibly removed from parts of Azerbaijan (Besides Sumgait and Baku, there were significant Armenian populations along the north of Azerbaijan). Indeed, in the case of the Armenians, they were not displaced internally, but evicted from the country altogether. For many, they were caught up in nasty pogroms that actually spelled their death, not their displacement.

Note 4: For more information on Ramil Safarov, a good place to start is Wikipedia, and follow the sources and bibliography. I have run out of space in the description for the sources of all of the photos I used (I can provide on request)

Thank you for watching and for reading this – As always, I read all respectful comments, I will pin any that add corrections or relevant info, and if I have major glaring errors, I will remove and correct.
