Join us in wishing the happiest birth to our Przewalski's stallion Bataar. This species might be famous for their hardiness in snow, as winters in the Mongolian steppe can reach −40.0 °F, but they are so well suited to Colorado because they can take on the heat and the cold in stride—which is why they are so good at churning up their mud wallows on a hot day. As for these cuties, Bataar, has been known to rear up to encourage keepers to give him extra snacks, while Batu is always happy to come in for the boops.
