Dash (a portmanteau of Digital Cash) is a payments-focused cryptocurrency and decentralized autonomous organization. It was founded in 2014 by Evan Duffield and features instant transactions, private transactions, and a self-funded, self-governed organizational structure. Dash is a fork of Bitcoin.

Ryan Taylor graduated from Columbia Business School. Before joining Dash as a CEO he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey and was a hedge fund analyst covering the payments industry.
