My Commencement Speech to the Class of 2020-Let’s Make The World A Better Place!

My friends, this is a pandemic, not the apocalypse, the world is not ending. Your life is just getting revved up! And yeah, it might be a little weird for awhile, but you’ll figure it out. You were confronted with something monumentally unpleasant, but you made it work, all this craziness has better prepared you for life. And although it might be hard to appreciate now, I bet that you’ll look back at this time with some fond memories. Think of all the time you’ve gotten to spend with your families. That’s a huge gift. You know what, give your parents a big hug right now, and while you’re at it, send all your teachers a thank you note.
So remember, define yourself with your actions. Be brave, act with intention, be of service, BE NICE and together let’s make this world a more loving, more compassionate, more caring, more generous, and a more accepting place. Are you with me class of 2020? YOU GOT THIS!
