Presentation Description: In the spring of 2020, schools across the United States closed abruptly. What has happened since has been described as distance education, online learning, remote teaching, hybrid instruction - and a variety of other terms. Unfortunately, regardless of how long this alternative mode of instruction has occurred, much of what has been delivered has been less than quality education. With the prospect that some form of remote teaching - either full-time or part-time - will need to continue for the foreseeable future, it is important to examine what we do know about quality online learning.
