Welcome to my channel! You may have seen this story on the news as covered by ABC channel 7 Los Angeles, and a lot of other news sources. I am so happy the news covered it but you know how that goes, they only get a minute part of the story. As you will see in this video of us rescuing an African Grey Parrot from a storm drain. 1️⃣ Why do they have their other African Grey out without a harness?
To tell you the truth, that made me nervous too! I know the bird is clipped but still, I would have a very hard time having my other bird out just like that, close to the drain. In all honesty, I didn't feel like I could say anything at first, because I had just gotten there, didn't know them, nor do I speak Spanish so I waited a bit then once I was offered to hold him, I suggested putting the bird in the carryon to be safe as you will see int he video. I have decided that with the funds from Patreon I will be ordering them harness for them and a lot of other things for them. More on that later.

2️⃣ Why are they feeding the birds Cheetos?
Again, this will all be part of a better education video I will do with them, but I do know, they feed heir birds lots of fruit and veggies as well and do give them a lot of attention and love. Sometimes people just need a little gentle education. I can tell you though, no matter what, almost every bird is familiar with the sound of a snack bag so if my bird was stuck anywhere I would use this sound to coax him out...as I mention to do in this video.
