Saint Lucia commemorates World AIDS Day (Dec. 1, 2021)

On December 1, Saint Lucia commemorates the 33rd annual observance of World AIDS Day, under the theme "End Inequalities, End AIDS, End Pandemics".
Saint Lucia documented its first known case of HIV/AIDS 36 years ago. Today, a free rapid test can let you know whether you may or may not have HIV in just 15 minutes. Like diabetes, high blood pressure, lupus, sickle anemia, among others, HIV is a chronic disease and daily medication is needed to be well and healthy.
