ஜெர்மனியில் ஐம்பொன்னால் ஆன இரண்டு திருவள்ளுவர் சிலை அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது

ஜெர்மனி நாட்டில் உள்ள பாடன் உர்ட்டன்பெர்க் மாநிலத்தில் ஸ்டுட்கார்ட் நகரத்திலுள்ள லண்டன் அரசு அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் ஐம்பொன்னால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட இரண்டு திருவள்ளுவர் சிலைகள் வரும் டிசம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி அமைக்கப்பட உள்ளன.

இதன் அறிமுக நிகழ்வு சென்னை தலைமை செயலகத்தில் தொல்லியல் துறை அமைச்சர் க.பாண்டியராஜன் முன்னிலையில் நடைபெற்றது.

இந்த நிகழ்வில் 40கிலோ எடை மற்றும் 3 அடி நீளம் கொண்ட ஐம்பொன்னால் ஆன திருவள்ளுவர் சிலையை அமைச்சர் பாண்டியராஜன் திறந்து வைத்தார். மேலும் 35 கிலோ எடை கொண்ட 1.5 அடி நீளம் கொண்ட மற்றொரு திருவள்ளுவர் சிலையும் லாண்டன் அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் அமைக்கப்படவுள்ளது.

தமிழ் மொழியின் சிறப்பினை உலகம் முழுவதும் பரப்பும் நோக்கில் மரபு அறக்கட்டளை என்னும் பன்னாட்டு அமைப்பு இந்த முயற்சியை செய்து வருவதாகவும், தமிழக அரச வழிச்செலவிற்க்காக 10 லட்சம் ரூபாய் நிதி வழங்கியுள்ளதாகவும் அமைச்சர் பாண்டியராஜன் தெரிவித்தார்.

இந்த நிகழ்வில் தமிழ் வளர்ச்சித்துறை செயலாளர் மகேசன் கார்த்திராஜன், தொல்லியல் துறையின் செயலாளர் உதயசந்திரன் மற்றும் மரபு அறக்கட்டளையின் நிர்வாகிகள் பலர் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.

Tamil Heritage Foundation is formed as a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization to serve Tamils around the world. We engage in the digital preservation of Indian Heritage Materials. We evolved over the years the technical know-how for preserving heritage materials such as ancient palm leaf manuscripts and old books in electronic forms that are easily readable in the web and mobile devices. This provides not only the freedom of information but assures democracy as well. By web enabling our ancient scripts and antiquities that were mostly read and understood by particular section of Tamil Society, we make it available to all sections of Tamil society, International students of Tamil language and culture and to scholars in general.

We aim to digitize millions of palm leaf manuscripts still unpublished from various Governmental and private libraries, museums and private collections. This includes manuscripts dealing with indigenous medicine, mathematics, astronomy, chemistry, engineering (ship building etc.,) architecture, literature, music and arts. We plan to bring forth the forgotten scientific, medical traditions, evaluate them in the light of modern science and encourage new discoveries and patents. In the long run we plan to bring in a paradigm shift in the Indian (Tamil) psyche from a heavily conditioned colonial mindset to a self-confident, vibrant Tamil mindset.
